CHILDREN from a club in Knutsford won medals at an acrobatic gymnastics competition last weekend.
Knutsford Gymnfinity students were best in class at grades A and B, as well as winning silver and bronze medals in every other category at Oldham Gymnastics Club.
The group, which trains at Egerton Youth Club, was represented by Ella Senior, Roberta Power, Caitlin Lowe, Jenna Smith, Georgia Murray, Louis Smith, Lydia Orton, Fiona Hutchinson, Mia Wheatley, Saffia Hughes, Millie Marshall, Angharad Snook, Bronwen Snook, Natasha Oldbury, Louis Thomas, Beth Paton and Sammy Rogers.
“It’s an amazing achievement considering that it was our first time at an event like that one,” said coach Ruth Chapman.
