Tennis club raise a laugh and money for charity
FEMALE members at Knutsford Tennis Club played against each other to raise money for charity.
More than a dozen took part in a day-long competition, organised by Christine Al-Zidgali to support Comic Relief, at Mereheath Lane on Saturday, when Vicky Robertson emerged as the winner.
She received a tennis bag from Monkhouse as a prize, along with a voucher to spend at Rosebank Sports in Northwich.
Balls for the contest were donated by the North East Cheshire Lawn Tennis League and Cheshire Lawn Tennis Association.
