KNUTSFORD’S third team lost by a narrow margin in the Warrington and District League’s latest round of matches on Wednesday.
Opponents Saints seconds proved just too strong, scoring a 19-15 success in Division Two.
The story was better for Knutsford’s fourths, who eased to a 15-3 victory against Saints thirds in the competition’s fourth tier.
