KNUTSFORD remain on course for promotion to the Warrington and District League’s Premier Division after recording an eighth successive win.
They defeated strugglers Beechwood, by 28-14, on Wednesday to open up a 13-points advantage over closest rivals Warrington Town thirds.
The club’s seconds were unlucky to lose narrowly against Capricon in the same section, with only four goals separating the two teams at the finish.
Knutsford’s thirds let slip an interval advantage against table-toppers Warrington Town sixths in Division Two, eventually losing the match 21-12.
Tonight, Wednesday – Division One: Imagine8 2nds v Knutsford; Knutsford 2nds v Warrington Town 3rds. Division Two: Beechwood 2nds v Knutsford 3rds. Division Three: Knutsford 4ths v Halton Gemz 3rds.
