EGERTON climbed from the bottom of the Altrincham and District Amateur League Division One table after sharing eight goals with Sale United on Saturday.
Andy Mason, Ryan Routley, Tony Scott and Mike Simmons were on target for the Knutsford outfit, who hope their fortunes continue to improve when Swinton arrive at Mereheath Lane this Saturday.
