HOLMES Chapel will play for the first time in three weeks this Saturday when Manchester Medics visit in South Lancashire & Cheshire League Division Three.

Their trip to Liverpool University at the weekend was postponed, leaving the Station Road side waiting for a chance to extend a three-matches winning sequence.

Meanwhile Chapel’s second string recorded back-to-back wins for the first time in the North West Intermediate League this season when they defeated Wilmslow fourths on Saturday.

A 34-18 success leaves them ninth in the standings.
