Plumley and District Probus club by David Cowgill
Plumley and District Probus club met at the Golden Pheasant on 8 September. The speaker was local man, Tony Davies who spoke about the first World War.
Tony covered a wide variety of issues, with the emphasis on local people who did not return. He answered a good number of questions raised by members.
The next meeting will be on September 22, when the speaker will be Bernard Bloom on the subject of Fritz Aber 'Nobel Prize Winner & War Criminal'.
