AREA demonstrator, Arthur McDonald from Edenfield, near Bury, kept members entertained with his demonstration ‘Let joy be undefined’.
Arthur, who was a member of the team who won a gold for the north-west area of NAFAS last year at the RHS Tatton Show, has an obvious love of working with flowers and the stage was a picture at the end of his demonstration. The vote of thanks was given by Ann Turnock and the foyer flowers were by June Sulej.
The next meeting is on September 10 when national demonstrator, Lorena Dyer will give her demonstration ‘A Touch of Romance’. There will be a members competition. Meetings are held in Goostrey Village Hall at 2pm for 2.30pm, visitors are welcome.
