Co-president, Eileen Podmore announced that the lunch club will meet on August 26 at 12:30pm in the Court Yard Cafe, Knutsford. Eileen also thanked the members who had worked so hard on their entry to this years Cheshire Show.
She then introduced the guest speaker, Betty Hayhurst, who spoke about her experience when appearing on the TV quiz show Eggheads. She gave a fascinating insight into what goes on behind the scenes on the programme.
The competition was for a decorated egg: 1. Eileen Podmore; 2. Pat Sandford; 3. Pam Cowburn.
The next meeting will be on August 05, at 2pm in the Jubilee Hall. New members and visitors are always welcome
