Knutsford Floral Design Club by Win Ross
Chairman Julie Wade welcomed members to the meeting and thanked all those who had supported the plant sale last month, which raised £95.00 for club funds. Julie then introduced the demonstrator, Don Billington of Liverpool, with the title 'Out Of the Wood'. Don entertained members with jokes and stories while producing an array of stunning flower arrangements. He used a wide variety of flowers and foliage in his designs, including fatsia, hostas and ferns, delphiniums, peonies, orchids and roses. Don also shared his wide knowledge of plants and flowers with members during the course of his demonstration.
The vote of thanks was given by Phyllis Stuffins.
