Crosstown WI
The first meeting of the year of Crosstown WI was opened by president May Lawson and attended by 36 members plus a new member. Minutes from the previous meeting were read, approved and signed. The correspondence read included thank you messages from guests who had attended the Christmas party .
Plans for the Cheshire Show were discussed by June Sherlock.
The speaker for the meeting was Margaret Thurston who entertained members with some of the humorous verses that she has written over the years.
After refreshments and a raffle the meeting closed.
