Two former members and a visitor were welcomed to the October meeting of Cranford Quilters.
The evening was spent making Christmas crackers under the guidance of Jane Simpson. The results of the challenge issued at the September meeting, to create anything of choice using a piece of provided fabric, were on display. Estelle Salem was the winner with her Christmas tree ornaments, which were displayed on a small white wooden Christmas tree.
The final meeting of Cranford Quilters will be held on November 24 at 7.30pm, at St Vincent’s RC Church Hall, Tatton Street, Knutsford. This will also be the AGM and Christmas party and refreshments will be served beforehand. For further information contact Karen on 01625 532713.
