PRESIDENT Virginia Williamson welcomed members to the June meeting of Plumley WI.
They enjoyed a lovely party to celebrate their 60th anniversary with a magnificent buffet of savoury and sweet dishes and an impressive cake.
A magician provided the entertainment for the evening and scrap books were displayed showing an interesting history of the WI from its beginning.
The next meeting is on Monday, July 7 at 7.30pm with June Corner and her talk entitled ‘Naughty but Nice’. The competition is a pair of knickers!
