AT the AGM on April 9, the Chairman thanked everyone for their help during the year, and for their regular attendance at meetings.

All officers were re-elected as follows, Vivien Davies, chairman, Stewart Gardiner, vice chairman, Robert Newton, treasurer and Jan McCappin, secretary.

The chairman reported a busy year since the last AGM, which began with a litter pick just prior to the opening of the shelter accompanied by music from Moseley Brass Band and the Rotary Club Jog 2013.

The Lions Street Fair stall had been a success, and in June the treasurer applied for funding for new play equipment for the Moor.

The deputy mayor opened the National Play Day in August, and in September members completed the second of the surveys of the public using the Moor.

During October another litter pick took place, and in November a plague in the shelter was installed thanking everyone who had contributed towards funding the project.

In late November the reindeer were again accommodated on the Moor before their process through the town.

At the December meeting plans were discussed regarding the play area with suggestions from a mother and her sons.

In January the annual RSPB bird watch took place, helped by Knutsford Ornithological Society.

A coffee morning in February raised £248.50 in aid of new play equipment.

The recent litter pick prior to the Rotary Club Jog on March 16 brought everything up to date.
