A BUSINESS networking group has officially launched in Holmes Chapel and is actively seeking new members.

This BNI (Business Network International) group meets at Cranage Hall every Thursday at 6.45am and the meeting is followed by the hotel’s renowned breakfast.

Members generally get away by 8.30am so as not to interfere with the working day.

So far the 17 member group has referred more than £163,000 worth of business between them.

The Cheshire and North Wales BNI regional groups have generated more than £15 million of business in the last 12 months.

Mandy King, chapter director, said: “Every member of our group is committed to trying to get new business for all the members and referrals lead to business opportunities that members wouldn’t have received if operating on their own.

"We host regular training sessions so that members get the most out of BNI and often these are run in conjunction with other groups – so lots of opportunities to meet other businesses that can lead to more business.

"Our objective is to become a 30 member group and interested businesses are invited to join us. We only allow one business per category so now is a great opportunity to lock out your competition.”
