A KNUTSFORD business owner has found the perfect formula for success after securing an exclusive spot at a prestigious sporting event.

Peter Murray, who owns Pulse of Perfumery on Princess Street has revealed that he will feature a new exclusive brand at this year’s Irlam Family Polo Event, which takes place on Saturday September 5.

The extravagant country affair will take place at Merrydale Manor at Over Peover, where Peter will have the chance to entice guests with ‘Parfum de Marly’, which is only available at one other UK perfumery.

The owners of Parfum de Marly, as well as the perfumer, will fly over from their base in Dubai and stay in Knutsford in order to attend the event.

Peter said “We are very excited to be involved with the Irlam family at this prestigious event and in particular that we can support this very worthy cause which will raise money for the local Parish community.

“The Irlam family have been giving and supporting charities for at least 20 years, for local and national charities like Cancer Research and Wish Upon a Star.”

POP, as it affectionately known, has become integrated with Knutsford businesses, and Peter takes pride in taking part in numerous charity events.

Georgina Irlam, of Colshaw Hall event planning, said: “We wanted to work with Peter as he is a great supporter of all charities in and around Knutsford. He is also a very well respected and a well known business owner.

We made contact with Peter through my fiance's personal training studio Colshaw Hall fitness where he now trains regularly.

“We would all like to thank Peter, Melanie and Jo from Pulse of Perfumery for their kind support.”

The Polo event has been a regular diary date for many years and with yet again a sell out of over 400 guests will ensure to raise much needed funds.

Peter said: “I love the fact that the word fundraising starts off with the letters FUN! And I am sure that there will be lots of it.”
