A KNUTSFORD bridal shop owner who turned her hand to designing will be launching her own label at the upcoming London Bridal Fashion Week.

Fiona Cooper, from Tabley, has run The Wedding Boutique since 2008 and, after listening to the wants and needs of brides-to-be, she was inspired to create her own designs.

The result was a vintage inspired collection with a modern twist and her label, Felicity Cooper, was born.

The collection went down a storm at the King Street boutique and Fiona decided to apply for a place at London Bridal Fashion Week this May.

Fiona was successful in securing a spot in the New Talents area and is looking forward to introducing her designs to the world.

"I am truly honoured to be launching the label at this prestigious event in London and we look forward to the dresses being stocked in selected boutiques across the country and possibly overseas," said Fiona.

"All who know me know how weddings and bridal gowns have been my passion from being a little girl.

“Father Christmas used to bring my mini wedding dresses all wrapped in tissue and attending London Bridal Fashion Week in May with my own collection will be one of my most proud moments.

“I didn't take the usual route of fashion design, with a degree in Agriculture & Equine however my passion for fabrics, creativity, hard work and six years listening to brides has enabled me to get to this point.”
