REINVIGORTAED Network Knutsford is proving it means business.

The networking group is welcoming Ed Salt, managing director of award-winning Knutsford-based Delamere Dairy, as the speaker at its relaunch event on Thursday February 19.

Delamere Dairy, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, has grown from just three hand-milked goats producing handmade goats cheese to exporting products ranging from goats milk, butter, yoghurts and cheese to 17 countries worldwide.

After expanding to America last year, the company has now set its sights on China, recently opening an office in Hong Kong.

David Heffernan, who has taken over running of Network Knutsford, said: “We are delighted that Ed has agreed to be the speaker at our re-launch meeting.

"Delamere Dairy is one of Knutsford's biggest business success stories and we are looking forward to hearing about Ed's role and his recent experience as part of a trade trip to China.

"Ed is the first in what we are planning to be a long list of quality speakers happy to share their experience with other businesses in the town as we re-establish Network Knutsford's credentials as a fun, social, yet serious local business lobby representing all the town's businesses."

The relaunch event will take place at the network’s new venue 21 Mediterranean Bar and Grill, on Princess Street, at 6.30pm. Ed Salt said: "I’m looking forward to sharing our story with other Knutsford businesses, exchanging ideas for best practice and learning from others’ experiences.”

Network Knutsford meetings will take place on the third Thursday of the month, from 6.30 to 9pm.
