A CHELFORD landlord will now be offering a slightly different type of produce after opening a delicatessan.

Jeremy Hague and his wife Anne, who run The Egerton Arms, opened Jones Deli on October 1 after planning the business for the past five years.

Clr George Walton, mayor of Cheshire East, opened the store, which will sell speciality beers, cheeses, meats and chutneys.

The Hagues started running the Knutsford Road pub for Punch Taverns six years ago before becoming the owners in 2010.
