Man arrested after Pickmere cannabis raid

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of supplying and producing cannabis after a raid at a house in Pickmere.

Greater Manchester Police stop checked a 30-year-old man in Longsight in Manchester on Monday, October 8 at 9.30am and found a quantity of drugs and cash.

The man was arrested and a warrant was obtained for a house in Clover Drive in Pickmere.

On Tuesday, October 9, officers from Cheshire Police carried out the warrant and found a cannabis farm that containted more than 100 plants.

The man has been bailed until January 17.
