PUPILS and staff at Egerton Primary dressed as Roald Dahl characters to help raise money for a foundation founded by the late author’s widow.
Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity exists to support seriously-ill children, and has raised £7 million for children with lifelong neurological and blood conditions since 1991.
The Dahlicious Dress Up Day was held on Friday.
Head teacher Alison Hooper dressed up as Willy Wonka, while pupils wore impressive outfits in homage to their favourite Dahl characters.
