Artisan market in town this weekend
1:40pm Wednesday 3rd October 2012 in News
THE hustle and bustle of a traditional market experience is coming to Knutsford this Sunday.
Denise Valente and Vicky Jackson, who run the award-winning artisan market in Wilmslow and Middlewich, are bringing the event to the town between 11am and 4pm.
The one-off event will see stalls lined along Princess Street and be called the Michaelmas market.
Denise said: “We are bringing nearly 100 of our very best artisans to showcase their handcrafted foods and crafts.
“We have selected only the very best traders to complement this beautiful and unique town.”
Entertainment will be provided by the Loose Change Buskers performing outside the Old Town Hall to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
Denise added: “Over the past two years they have raised nearly £30,000 for this amazing cause, which is quite phenomenal.
“We look forward to seeing everyone, and hope it is a spectacular day for Knutsford businesses and visitors.”
