Knutsford man arrested at key match

A 31-YEAR-OLD man from Knutsford was arrested by police at the Premier League football match between Manchester United and Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.

The man, who has not been named by the police, was arrested inside the stadium on suspicion of committing criminal damage.

He was taken to a station for questioning, and has been released on police bail.
