LATEST: Major route through Plumley shut for three days

A MAJOR road through Plumley will be closed for three days this week. 

Plumley Moor Road will be closed until Wednesday, September 26 to enable Cheshire East Highways to carry out carriageway resurfacing works.

The road will be closed from outside Golden Pheasant Public House to the junction with Trouthall Lane.

The alternative route during the closure will be via B5081 Middlewich Road, A50 Toft Road/King Edward Road, A5033 Northwich Road, A556 Chester Road and vice versa.

Access for pedestrians, residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.

Work will take place between 8am and 5pm.
