A RACING driver from Knutsford, along with the town’s major car dealers, will be some of the stars of a motor show this weekend.
The streets of Wilmslow will be the venue for a Motor Show showcasing luxury and top-end cars on Saturday.
Wilmslow Business Group is organising the show, sponsored by airline Etihad, which will be opened by Knutsford professional racing driver Oli Webb.
Oli now competes in the World Series competition – one level below Formula 1 – and The Indy Lights championship in America.
He also works in close conjunction with Holmes Chapel-based supercar manufacturer BAC, working as their test driver.
BAC will attend the show.
Show organiser Adrian Lea, who owns gym Energie Fitness, said: “The luxury cars will be placed down the main pedestrianised road in Wilmslow, giving visitors an opportunity to have a look at the cars and chat to the dealers. “In addition, Etihad is arranging for one of their Formula 1 cars to come over from Abu Dhabi so that visitors to the show can take a look.”
