New circus show in town

THE Netherlands National Circus is on a major tour of Britain – and it’s heading to Knutsford.

The circus – one of Europe’s largest – will be at Tatton Park from Tuesday, September 25 to Sunday, September 30.

This brand-new 2012 production puts an emphasis on great comedy, with Clown Angelo providing funny routines based on his family’s comic heritage, which goes back through three generations of classical circus.

The circus includes a three-level flying trapeze – an Australian invention never seen before in Britain – as well as springboard acrobatics, roller-balancing, solo trapeze, diabolo, a hand-balancer who fires a bow and arrow with her feet and much more.
