LATEST: Police hunt flasher on the Heath

KNUTSFORD Police are appealing for information following a number of indecent exposures on the Heath over the past 12 months.

There have been six instances of a man exposing himself and officers believe the incidents are possibly connected with the description being similar in some of the reports.

On a number of occasions a man in his 40′s has been seen by female dog walkers.

He has not approached anyone or spoken to anyone.

The incidents have happened in the wooded area of the Heath, which is parallel to Ladies Mile.

On all occasions he has been seen with his trousers around his ankles exposing himself.

The offender is described as white, mainly being in his 40′s, balding, or completely bald. He has been described as of large build or overweight. He is believed to be between 5 ft 3ins and 5 ft 6ins tall.

He wears either a dark suit or a long dark coloured over coat which may be tan brown.

Anyone with information or has seen similar incidents but has not yet come forward to police should contact Knutsford Neighbourhood Policing Unit.

Insp Steve Griffiths said: “We need as much information as possible to help us identify and locate the man. If you have seen a man matching the description or recognise him then please get in touch.”

Anyone with information should call 101 or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
