Don’t miss the chance of a Guardian charity grant
12:20pm Monday 17th September 2012 in News
DO you have a charitable project in need of investment?
The Knutsford Guardian is again offering charities in the area the chance to apply for a Gannett grant, with between £5,000 and £10,000 on offer.
Gannett is the parent company of Newsquest, owners of the Guardian.
And we are again looking to support charities with projects which help improve neighbourhoods, boost economic development, youth development, the environment, culture or help the disadvantaged of disabled.
Editor Carla Flynn said: “We value projects bringing lasting benefits to the communities which are served by the paper and our website.
“While preference may be given to ideas which create a legacy for the community, we also consider single events that meet our criteria.”
Trustees at the Gannett Foundation, the charitable arm, will make the final decision on which projects are successful.
The charity’s most recent financial accounts are required with an application form and any supporting materials should also be added. You can download an application from our website knutsfordguardian.co.uk.
The deadline is 5pm on Friday, September 21.
E-mail your application form to awilkinson@guardiangrp.co.uk or you can send them to Anne Wilkinson, Northwich Guardian, 3-6 Theatre Court, Northwich, Cheshire CW9 5HB.
Applications which do not meet the critieria or do not follow our rules and procedures will be rejected. The full details are available on our website.
