Prized pet Rosie is found after appeal in the Guardian

A FAMILY pet has been returned to its worried owners after a successful Guardian appeal.

We reported that Rosie, a small tortoiseshell/tabby cat, went missing near Thorneyholme Drive on July 25.

As soon as the article appeared in the paper last week, the family received three calls from readers who had spotted her in Grove Park.

Lorraine Dorsett said: “I’d like to thank the readers.

“The support we had was wonderful and it’s because of the Guardian.

“Rosie was really hungry but apart from that she was fine. We’re absolutely thrilled to have her back.”
