KNUTSFORD’S police officers will be taking their work to the people in a new idea that is set to start this weekend.

PCSO Greg Bithell has decided to refresh the way police surgeries have previously taken place in the town.

Instead of them taking place at the back of the Civic Centre, PCSO Bithell has decided to bring his work – and his colleagues – to the public instead.

He will be setting up in various points of the town on Saturdays so residents can quiz him on the issues affecting them.

The first surgery will take place on Saturday, July 28 outside Booths from 12pm.
