A chilli reception awaits visitors

ARLEY Hall and Gardens near Knutsford is holding a Chilli Festival on August 21.

The event will run from 11am to 3.30pm, and will include food traders with chilli products, salsa dancing and a quiz with a meal at Nando’s as a prize.

Arley’s gardeners are growing 100 different varieties of chilli, and the plants will be on display on the day.

Admission charges for the hall and gardens stand, but the festival is free.
