Arts coach is proud of Superstar sibling
7:20pm Saturday 14th July 2012 in News
A PERFORMING arts coach who helps Knutsford youngsters was glued to her screen when her brother performed for Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber on national television.
David Hunter was last to audition in front of the judges’ panel on the ITV Superstar search on Saturday which left Jason Donovan speechless.
Now through to the final 30, students at LIPA 4:19 – the stage school franchise of Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts – are eager to see how he gets on in the next round of auditions.
Knutsford’s LIPA 4:19 is co-run by Becci Francis, David’s sister.
She said: “I am so proud of my brother, he has worked so hard and this is an amazing opportunity for him.”
David graduated from The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts in 2006 and has worked both in theatre and the music industry ever since.
LIPA 4:19 is holding a free trial evening at Knutsford Methodist Church on July 16. Call 07508 808 385.
