Crowning day for Emily

PLUMLEY residents will be gathering to celebrate when the community crowns its first rose queen on Saturday.
Emily Lawton, a Lower Peover Primary School pupil, will be the first to be crowned since 2009 after organisers decided to bring back the role.
It is all part of the Plumley Village Fun Day which starts with a procession leaving from Yew Tree Road at 12pm.
