PUPILS at Goostrey pre-school took part in the Cheshire Nursery Arts Competition this year for the first time. The theme of the competition was The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
The popular competition attracted 700 entries, and Sebastian Fairhurst from Goostrey Pre-school won first prize in the age four category for his colourful painting of the caterpillar.
He won a Hobby Craft voucher for himself and £100 for his pre-school.
