Coffee morning boost for group

THE Friends of the Moor have thanked those who helped boost a recent coffee morning.
The morning raised £192 with the sale of tickets, cakes, bric-a-brac and a raffle.
The event was attended by the mayor, Clr Stewart Gardiner his consort, Clr Simon Hutchence and Clr Olivia Hunter.
The friends group also thanked those people who contributed to and gave their time to the fundraiser, as well as Roberta, who owns a business on King Street, for providing the main raffle prize of beauty treatment.
