A MUSICAL businesswoman who helps youngsters get into the swing of things has won a top award that recognises working mums.
Frances Donkin, who runs Rhythm Time music classes for youngsters in Knutsford, has won Franchisee of the Year at the mumandworking 2011 awards in Brighton.
The awards, hosted by X Factor’s Alexandra Watson, celebrate companies and individuals that make flexible working possible for parents.
Frances was the first franchisee to set up a Rhythm Time class in 2000 after taking her daughter to the first session in the Midlands when the business was established in 1994.
She said: “I’m delighted with this award as it proves that family-friendly employment really supports family life and gives real benefits to the company.”
