Guests celebrate at Knutsford summer ball

MORE than 350 people attended the annual Knutsford summer ball to raise funds for three schools.

The event at Toft Cricket Club included a band and a raffle.

Yesterday, Tuesday, as the Guardian went to press, organisers could not say exactly how much they had raised.

But they expect to have several thousand pounds for the PTAs at Bexton, Egerton and St Vincent’s primary schools in Knutsford.

“It was a lovely summer evening and a great occasion,” said committee member Vicky Rogers.
