A CAMPER van caught fire on a main road.
Emergency crews discovered the vehicle well alight on Styal Road in Wilmslow shortly after 12 noon on Tuesday.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels to put out the flames.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The compartment was cooled down and the temperature was checked using the thermal imaging camera.

"The cylinder was also removed and cooled down using a hose reel jet."
One fire engine from Wilmslow attended the incident.
