TETBURY businesses and residents has been hit by a spate of burglaries in the past week.

Between Saturday, September 16, and Friday, September 21, there were four burglaries and one attempted burglary in the town.

The first incident occurred at a garage in the Trull area, between 7pm on September 16, and 7am on September 17, where offenders broke into a garage using a crowbar.

It is not known if anything was stolen from the garage.

Tetbury Hospital was broken into on September 18, between 1.30am and 2.15am, when offenders broke into the maintenance room, breaking a heavy duty padlock.

Nothing was taken after offenders were disturbed by the alarm.

If anyone was travelling on the Malmesbury Road at this time and heard or saw anything suspicious contact police quoting incident 20 18/09/18.

A business in the Industrial Estate, on Hampton Street, was broken into on September 19, at around 11pm.

Offenders gained access to the business by breaking the lock of a door before stealing a large industrial safe.

A white pickup style vehicle, with lights on top of the cab was seen reversing into the Industrial Estate before the incident, then leaving at 11.38pm.

A house in Conygar Road, was broken into on September 21, between 4pm and 9pm.

Offenders broke forced open the rear patio door and stole small sentimental items.

If you have anyone has any information, contact police with incident number 418 21/09/18.

There was also an attempted burglary on September 21, at 2am at The Hunters Hall, in Kingscote, but the burglars were disturbed.
