A WOMAN has died following a crash between a car and tractor on the A50 at Crange.
Police are appealing for information on the incident, which involved a silver Citroen C3 and a tractor shortly before 9pm on Saturday.
A passenger in the Citroen, an 86-year-old woman from Kidsgrove, died at the scene while the driver was also injured.
The driver of the tractor was uninjured.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: "Enquiries in relation to this incident are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who believes they have any dashcam footage of the incident or footage of the vehicles in the moments leading up to the collision.

The road was closed near Woodside Golf Club following the incident, from before 9pm until the early hours of Sunday morning.
Firefighters also attended the scene, to aid those trapped in the Citroen.
