FOR the first time in four years The Fizz Festival Cheshire will move venue to The Courthouse in Knutsford, on November 17 and 18.

The move is due in part to the stunning backdrop of the newly-refurbished landmark and former court building.

“We are so looking forward to the event, and our producers and suppliers are equally excited”, said Janet Harrison, the organiser of the festival.

The Fizz Festival has always been about discovering and championing producers of top-quality Champagne and sparkling wine from around the world.

The organisers hand-pick the suppliers to bring visitors the best possible range of grower-producer Champagne, unusual and hard to find sparkling wines and a great experience.

Visitors pay a £25 ticket price (discounts for groups of four) which includes a free tasting of everything at the festival.

Visitors also have a great opportunity to talk directly to the producer, discover how the wines are made and buy them by the bottle or the case, at discounted prices.

This year the event will include a new award category, which is named ‘out of the ordinary’ - this will cover unique fizz with natural colourings and flavours, fizz friendly liqueurs and spirits too.

The organisers welcome back some amazing suppliers from last year, including the winner of the Best Champagne Award: EspritdeChampagne with Champagne Jacques Chaput L’Authentic.

A pioneering young Crémant producer from Alsace will also be making the journey to Cheshire.

Janet met Franck whist on a trip to the region and loved the quality of his amazing sparkling wines.

You will have an opportunity to sample the fabulous Crémant from Jean-Claude Buecher et Fils and meet Franck, a keen Manchester United fan.
