RISING indie star Tom Grennan performed at The Legh Arms in Knutsford this morning as part of a world record attempt.

To celebrate the release of Tom’s debut album Lighting Matches he is looking to break the official Guinness World Record for most gigs played in 12 hours.

He will be playing 10 towns between Manchester and Marlborough, including The Legh Arms, for which free tickets were available.

The criteria for the record is that Tom has to play 10 immediate shows in towns with a population of at least 5,000 and less than 15,000, and the 15-minute gigs must be performed in front of at least 10 people.
