RESIDENTS celebrated the Royal wedding on Saturday with a street party on Lilac Avenue in Knutsford.
The celebrations were organised by a group of eight residents, and included food, barbecues, face painting and giant games of Jenga and Connect Four.
Knutsford’s new mayor, Cllr Peter Coan, joined in the celebrations after being invited to come along, and residents from adjoining streets were also invited.
The street party also featured music from local bands White Hot Chili Peppers and Don’t Start Without Us.
The party were aimed at offering the chance for residents to get together and meet up as well as celebrating the Royal wedding, and the event was blessed with superb weather. Pictures by SarahClegg.com
