FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a bonfire which was spreading to hedgerow on the A50.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were called at around 9.50pm on Saturday, May 19 to A50 near Peover.
On arrival, firefighters discovered a large bonfire which was encroaching on nearby hedgerow.
After an assessment crews decided to extinguish the bonfire with two main jets.
Crews were on scene for around one hour and 10 minutes.
