A NEW production company is on the lookout for local actors, adult and junior, to join it for a trip down the rabbit hole in a pantomime adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s timeless tale.

Broad Spectrum Productions (BSP) is based in Cheshire, and its first production, Alice in Wonderland, is coming to Knutsford in August.

The company is run by Jayne Guest and Ben Evans-Clarke, who want to hear from performers wishing to come and perform with them. The show consists of eight principal parts, ranging from Alice to the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts.

Auditions for these roles will take place on Sunday, June 3, and more information can be found by at broadspectrumproductions.co.uk/auditions-alice-in-wonderland. Rehearsals will then take place on Sunday mornings from July.

BSP is offering a week’s Pantomime Summer School for anyone, school year 6 and above as of September 2018, to be able to train under theatre professionals and become part of the production cast.

The Summer School will run from August 13 to 17, and will cost £100 for any successful auditionees from the audition day on Sunday, June 10.

The cost covers not only the week’s worth of tutorial time, but also entitles the performers to take part in the performance, all the rehearsal materials and all costumes provided for them.

Anyone interested in the Summer School should visit broadspectrumproductions.co.uk/panto-summer-school to find out more or to register for an audition.
