BEER fans are being offered the chance to win 18 pints from Tatton Brewery.
All you need to do is come up with an imaginative name for Knutsford Music Festival’s official ale, made in collaboration with the town’s brewery.
The Town Council event, headlined by Miles Hunt of The Wonder Stuff, takes place in venues across Knutsford between June 22 and 24.
And the beer will be widely available at various pubs and bars in the town to get music fans in the mood.
The beer is described as a 4.5 per cent pale/golden summer ale with a biscuity malt base, tropical fruit flavour and fresh lemon zest aroma.
And there are no rules for what the beer can be named after so let your imagination go wild.
It could be nod to one of the festival’s performers, something to do with the brew’s tasting notes or anything in-between.
The person who comes up with the best name will be given a free 18-pint poly-pin (screw cap container) of the beer to enjoy at home.
Sarah Morgan, Deputy Town Clerk of Knutsford Town Council, said: “There’s nothing like a good beer at a music festival and we’re delighted Tatton Brewery are supporting us with an official ale.
“We’re looking for a name that sums up the festival, the beer or both.
“Don’t be afraid to suggest the weird and wonderful and good luck.”
