CHESHIRE’S biggest open-air celebration of dance music is coming to Capesthorne Hall this summer and, thanks to a unique opportunity over Easter, fans will be hearing their own chosen favourite tracks.

Classic Ibiza’s Facebook followers were asked to vote for their favourite tracks over the Easter holiday, the tracks with the most votes will then be added to the set-list at this summer’s concert, held in the grounds of Capesthorne Hall, on Saturday, June 30.

The concert organisers were inundated with responses, with a staggering 10,403 votes being cast.

The winning tracks are: Out of Space by The Prodigy, Hey Boy Hey Girl by The Chemical Brothers, Free by Ultra Naté, Touch Me by Rui Da Silva ft. Cassandra, and Rhythm of the Night by Corona.

The winning tracks will be performed at the event by the Urban Soul Orchestra (USO) and DJ Goldierocks, with a host of live vocalists.

Stephen Hussey, founder and conductor oft USO, said: “All of the winning tracks helped to create truly incredible moments in dance music’s long history. It’s great to see that the Classic Ibiza audience has such great taste!

“We are really excited by the prospect of adding our unique twist to the arrangements and allowing the Capesthorne audience to witness the tracks that they voted for being performed by a full orchestra in this beautiful outdoor setting. It’s going to be an incredible evening – roll on the summer.”

The event is set to be a fun, family affair, with stalls, food and drink. The evening will start with a chill-out set, where attendees can enjoy their picnics and watch the sunset. Then DJ Goldierocks will gradually turn things up and get the crowd in the mood before the orchestra and vocalists take to the stage.

The USO has performed and recorded with a veritable who’s who in the dance music industry, including Nightmares on Wax, Groove Armada, Octave One and Soul II Soul to name a few.

The concert is set to sell-out long in advance, so book your tickets now.
