VET Paul Adams is taking part in a woodland walk at Arley on Sunday in aid of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

Paul is the clinical director at Knutsford Veterinary Surgery, and the fundraiser takes place at Arley Hall and Gardens.

It is being organised by the Cheshire branch of the Hearing Dogs organisation, and covers three miles. Registration opens at 10am, and the walk starts at 11am.

“This is an easy walk of three miles through the delightful countryside of the Arley Estate,” said organiser Terry Webb.

“The route, mostly over hard surfaces, takes us through Big Wood, an area not normally open to the public where there are extensive displays of wild flowers in the spring and many species of wild birds.

“There is a restaurant, toilets and gift shop at the Stableyard where our walk starts and finishes, and every walker gets a certificate.”
