BUDDING young actors are to stage a production of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory at The Lowry in Salford this summer.
The children attend theatre classes run by Melissa Ward, who has just launched weekly classes at Knutsford Methodist Church.
Melissa is the owner of The Ward Academy for Theatre and Creative Arts, and runs classes in Worsley, Middleton and Knutsford.
The Knutsford classes run every Thursday from 4.30pm to 6.15pm for three to six-year-olds, and from 5.15pm to 7.15pm for aged seven to 11.
The classes teach acting, singing and dancing, and all three run by Melissa are working towards putting on the Roald Dahl classic Charlie and The Chocolate Factory in July.
Melissa worked as a professional actress for 15 years, and is a primary school teacher.
