Double breakdown on M6 causing southbound queues
THERE are currently queues upwards of half an hour on the M6 southbound due to two breakdowns within the roadworks.
Both vehicles have broken down between junctions 19 for Knutsford and 18 for Middlewich and Holmes Chapel.
The first lane is blocked, and with no hard shoulder available as a result of ongoing smart motorway works traffic is moving slowly in the two remaining lanes.
